cultural heritage and environmental diversity in the face of changes brought
about by globalization. Curriculum Highlights: Intensive Language Study: French; History,
Geography, and Politics; Development Studies; Cultural Anthropology; Arts
and Humanities; Educational Excursions; Field Study Seminar and Independent
Study Project. (16 credits in total) Four weeks homestay in Dschang and two
weeks in Yaounde. Educational Excursions include two or more visits to
northern, northwestern (anglophone), and/or southern Cameroon. Setting Description: Cameroon is a nation of diversity, both in its
cultural and natural environments. This program based in Dschang, a
temperate city nestled among verdant hills, and Yaounde, the thriving modern
capital of Cameroon. Program Value: Fees include international airfare, health insurance,
tuition, full room and board, excursions, and other direct program expenses.
Participants pay for domestic travel to the point of departure from the USA.
