Curriculum Highlights: Dominican homestays, extensive program of cultural activities and field trips, optional community service internship, ESL teacher training, volunteer opportunities, structured Dominican student support network, work retreats
Setting Description: The Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra is a private, non profit institution of higher education dedicated to superior teaching. The university is located in Santiago de los Caballeros, the second largest city in the Dominican Republic.
Program Value: The Council fee includes tuition, housing and meals, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions and field trips, insurance, pre-departure advising, and International Student Identity Card (ISIC).
