Gadva |
A gadva is a wide-based, narrow-mouthed
metallic or earthenware pot beaten on the bottom. Iron rings
of various thicknesses worn on the fingers produce sharp and
varied notes. A smaller pot is called a gadvi. Often a kaula,
small metal cup, is played along with it. These instruments
are devoid of ornaments.
